Finished my first lace shawl. Lace is generally not my thing - I'm more about clean, minimalist, modern design. But it is a skill I wanted to polish to consider myself a skilled knitter.

I like how it turned out. It was definitely interesting work. I can see how lace knitting can get addicting. It's definitely a lot of fun. I'm working on my next lace shawl, albeit this one is more asymmetrical and artsy.

Baby booties

Last night I whipped up a pair of baby booties for our contractor's new baby. I love them! Quick and easy knit using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino yarn. I will be making more of these, for sure.
