Jack's first Christmas presents 2012

Although Jack won't remember his first Christmas, my husband and I sure will. Therefore, we decided to go ahead and buy him some fun presents to unwrap under the tree. While I'm usually very practical, I'm also a sucker for fun colors and sleek design. Love these!

Tobbles Neo

Kid O Go Car

Boon "Dive" Bath Tub Appliques

HABA Magica Rattle

Skip Hop Sort and Spin Fishbowl Sorther Bath Toys

Baby Deedee Sleep Nest Baby Sleeping Bag
I can't wait to watch Jack unwrap these on Christmas morning. I also suspect hubby and I will enjoy the entire experience more than he will, but it's a memory we'll cherish forever. And that's the greatest gift we are giving to each other this year.

Thursday night adventures

Tonight hubby made spaghetti. Jackers loves eating it, but I doubt it's for the taste. Check out these dinner shots. What a goober!
After dinner we found old-timey holiday music on Pandora and decided to decorate the casa for the holidays. We had Jack testing the lights before putting them on the tree.
Jack-o-lantern
Why is this hanging here?
Why is any of this here?
He soon started mimicking us by attempting to put up ornaments on the tree.
The lights were his favorite.
What? I'm helping.
Behold the great work I did.
I'm outta here!
This was most definitely the best tree-decorating night of our married life together. Having a child makes everything extra-special.

Rub-a-dub-dub, baby in the tub

Tonight we decided to try out the new tub my hubby installed and tiled (the bathroom is still under construction, but that's a post for another day). So we started a bath for Jackers, who just loves splashing in water but has outgrown his baby tub. Fun was had!
What is this? So big.
At first he was in awe of all that water.
Then, splashing ensued!
Mama's pretty baby.
Bath time is so much fun!
Splash! I'm not coming out until I'm all pruney!

9 months

I've gotten so big!
I crawl, I climb, and I can stand by myself for a few seconds
I even have my two bottom teeth now!
What a fun boy! Mommy and daddy love you sooo much. Keep growing and amazing us every day.
