Bowling with the besties

Friday night was a bowling night with friends. Notice how excited Jeff was to pose for a group photo.
That bottom score in the next picture - that was Spomi and me (we took turns). We beat those boys in the practice run.
There is my big butt picking up the ball (lightest and with the smallest finger holes, mind you - and I am talking about the bowling ball.)
I couldn't get Alex to pose for a pic, but Tony was game. These two are signed as our witnesses on our marriage certificate (aka best man and maid of honor). Good times! Although these two got a bit drunky-drunky and obnoxious. But what else is new?

More birthday love

My husband is a quiet type. (That's actually an understatement.) He usually sits in the background and observes. He lets others be the center of attention. Well, we went to my parents' house, and my family did something they do best - they singled him out and made him feel extra special.
Needless to say, hubby was probably uncomfortable with all that attention.
After he received his presents, we drove to Red Rossa for some delicious pizza.
Let's just say we were pretty full by the end of the night, and my hubby couldn't wait to go home to play with his presents. It was a pleasant evening with my loved ones.

Care bears and March birthdays

Lots of birthday parties lately... This one was held at hubby's grandparents' house.
Hubby's sister and grandmother's birthdays are also in March, so the family celebrates together every year.
My sister-in-law, mother-in-law, and hubby posed for a quick picture...
...Maggie was also ready for her shot - Mason wasn't.
The three of us. While Maggie looks a lot like her uncle Jeff, she is blue-eyed and fair like her auntie. :)
This girl is clever and cute as a button. In the background is her dad, grandma Rosemary and grandpa Dick.
And here is Emily's and Jeff's birthday cake. My hubby's first ever birthday cake had Care Bears on in, hence the nostalgic flashback. Babies grow up fast.
