If you watch the news, you have probably heard of the earthquake in Haiti and its devastating aftermath. My heart goes out to these people. I made a small donation to the Doctors Without Borders, and invite you to do, too - if you can.
I am more at peace knowing I contributed - however little - to people in need.

More knitting
This Sunday was all about cleaning up the kitchen. I vacuumed and mopped the floors, cleaned all the appliances inside out, wiped all the cabinet doors and counters, etc. It feels like such an accomplishment. Now we must try to maintain it like this for at least a little while. That's always the biggest challenge.
As promised, here is the picture of the "seaman's cap" that I am knitting for my husband. Funny how the yarn for the socks I made him a while ago was called "fisherman's wool". It seems like there is an unintentional water theme when it comes to my husband - which makes sense since he is a Pisces. :)
