I finished the Citadel mittens for the battered women's shelter. The yarn was given to me by the owner of the yarn shop I work for, otherwise, I would have never picked black. It's difficult to see your stitches.

Although I initially wanted to do a lace scarf, I changed my mind after I bought Noro Taiyo yarn. I knew I had to do something with it. I chose the Norwegian pattern the Baktus Scarf. It's bright and colorful - something my drab winter wardrobe needs.
