First fall

Fall is officially here. This season is beautiful but never fails to make me feel melancholy and nostalgic for some reason. It used to be all about starting a new school year, but it's been a while since I was a student. But then I remember that it's Jack's first fall. And there will be more school books, school supplies, sweaters, and the excitement that comes with fall when Jack is older and starts his academic life. But for now, we just get to watch the season change and marvel at it all. Tonight, we took a stroll in the park and played at the playground. It was simply marvelous.

Weekend fun

Lots of things happening this weekend. On Saturday, we met my family at the World Food Festival. I can't believe that last year when I attended this event, I was pregnant and nauseous. This year was much more fun, even though we had to wait in line for a long time for most of the food we tried. But we had great company whilst waiting.

On Sunday, we visited some family friends, where Jackers got to hang out with some of his baby buddies.

This baby was tuckered out after all the weekend fun. I think he is going to sleep well tonight.

Jack's Room

We have a new addition to Jack's room. So cute!
Here is the baby, for scale. Big boy has his own room, and now even a sign to show it.

Baby sign languge class, visiting cousins

Wednesday was a busy day. In the morning, hubby joined me at the child development center to attend the baby sign language class with Jack. We sing songs, play with toys, and sign with our hands. Jack just looks around and smiles at all the commotion.

He sits unsupported already. Of course, we still keep an eye on him so he doesn't hurt his noggin.

He is grasping for toys and chewing them all. He is also making attempts at crawling. Mostly he just looks like Superman on the floor, kicking and flailing his little baby arms and legs.

After work, my mom, Jack and I drove to my parents house to welcome my two cousins who were visiting for one night.

My cousin has a 5-month old baby boy, too, so he knew how to get Jack to laugh. He also got to play with grandpa.

Jackers was really tired by the time we went home. He fell asleep in the car after fussing about for a while (his new thing is hating to sit in the car seat). My tired little boy. What a fun day.

6 months

My baby boy turned six months today! How fast the time has flown. We adore this little guy. He is so well-behaved and happy, but he definitely has a personality. The only time he cries... or rather, whines is when he is tired or hungry. He laughs often, makes funny noises, almost sits unsupported, likes to jump around and grab things. He is lovely in every way.

1st birthday party

This past weekend we celebrated a friend's first birthday party. Jackers was so good the entire time. I was so proud of him.

My dress up doll baby

Since my body shape hinders me from wearing fashionable clothes, I'm definitely using my baby boy to make a fashion statement. Here are a few shots where he is featuring some cute baby boy outfits.
